The first threshold is the obvious one: at least 36 of the 45 answers correct. The second sits inside it. Of the five questions on Danish values, at least four must be right. Miss two of those five and you have failed the whole paper, even with 40 or 44 correct overall.
So a score of 36 does not always pass and a score of 44 does not always pass. Five questions out of forty-five carry the power to end it on their own, and they are five of the ten that no study material covers.

No. It is set and sat in Danish only. It is a separate requirement from the Danish language test, which is normally Prøve i Dansk 3 at B2 level.
You can sit it again at the following prøvetermin, and you pay the fee again. The test runs twice a year, so a failed attempt costs about six months.
