Missing 21 October does not cost you five weeks, it costs you about six months, because the next sitting after November is the following summer.

Through a language centre that holds the test. Several run it, including Studieskolen, A2B, AOF and UCplus, and you register with the centre rather than centrally. The authority's own page at danskogproever.dk lists the deadlines and dates that apply to all of them.

You can register for the following prøvetermin and sit it again, paying the fee again. There is no published limit on attempts, but each one costs a sitting cycle.
